Lead Public Agencies

A Lead Public Agency (LPA) is the public entity that facilitates the solicitation for a given contract category. The process they follow, typically a Request For Proposal (RFP) is critical in cooperative purchasing, as other participating agencies must trust that the LPA conducted the solicitation in a similar fashion to how they would have done it. For this reason, our LPA’s are selected because of their outstanding reputations in the public procurement world and because of the top-tier leadership behind each one.
